This annual summer event, held in Hamilton, Ontario, celebrated the vibrant Filipino heritage, culture, and arts, promoting strong bonds within the Filipino community while welcoming people of all backgrounds.
Fiesta Extravaganza, a major event on the calendar of Filipino Canadians, is a large celebration that brings together the diverse Filipino community residing in various cities across Canada.
The festivities offered a variety of cultural presentations, musical performances, and thrilling games that transported attendees to the heart of Filipino traditions. Local Filipino talents took on the stage with lively concerts, while well-known movie stars from the Philippines added a touch of glamour to the event. Attendees were able to choose from delectable Filipino cuisines, immersing themselves in the rich flavors that are an integral part of Filipino culture.
One of the most cherished highlights was the presence of the Smiles booth, which not only represented the brand but also showcased a commitment to the community. The booth received an esteemed visit from none other than our CEO and Chairman, Eiji Miyakawa, along with his family. The Smiles Canada team was thrilled to have the opportunity to capture this significant occasion in photographs with the Miyakawa family.
